If anyone hasn't already done so, have a look at the 'library of portrait sculptors in the "Portrait Sculptors of the Americas' website:
www.portraitsculptors.org
We've just added 2 new ones......Daniel Chester French, famous for his seated Lincoln in Washington, and Gaston Lachaise, not so well known for his portrait work, but more for the wonderful rounded women he sculpted.
The many examples show how different portrait sculpture can be, stylistically speaking.
Have a good weekend everyone!
Stuart
